Introduction: Unless other noted, all times/dates below are in UTC, all frequencies are in kilohertz and the mode is AM.

Most of my listening is done via ultralight shortwave radio receivers (my favorite of late is my CCrane Skywave), but I also sometimes use my Tecsun PL-310ET, Yaesu FT-817, TIVDIO V-115, Radio Shack 2000669, or a standard AM FM car radio.

My QTH is in EM15ep in far Northwest Oklahoma City

FYI, the call sign/name of each station as well as logos normally link to special pages on this website that provide more detailed information on the stations, including QSL info, etc. Links for reception equipment, books, etc. are sometimes affiliate links, for which I receive a small commission for sales made.

Allan Weiner World Wide, featuring Allan and his girlfriend, talking about electric space heaters (some good thoughts here on safety — I never considered it, but a space heater is effectively a big resister that radiates heat — which means that the quality of the electrical cord, outlet, plug, etc, is all a big issue) as well as ice cream. Apparently Allan doesn’t like any commercial ice creams, even Ben & Jerry’s, so he makes his own with a fancy Swiss-made ice cream maker. I didn’t catch the brand name, but it sounds awesome as it has a built in freezing system and is about double the size of a toaster oven. — Personally I was relieved that what I heard was not another round of him defending fascists like Donald Trump or child molesters like “Brother” Gordon R. Stair. I miss the old Allan Weiner.

Not a fan of left-Anarchism, but says he has dated some folks with this perspective and that they “clean up nicely.” Doesn’t like the “If you see something, say something” motto. He says that it is always dangerous to call the police. I’m not a fan of much of the Libertarian agenda, but I appreciate their perspective. — National adverts from prepper businesses, an alien conference ( ), and then a PSA Veterans Administration, PSA to promote a “pro ag leaders scholarship” (funded by Monsanto, ha! – Later at :35 he critiques patriotism in a very interesting way, connecting the red scare of the 1950’s with modern efforts to police political thought. :47 talking about cryptocurrency. Peters preaching his usual mix of fairly veiled British Israealism and white supremacy, oddly this time ranting about “CCC (Church of Christ Crap)” given his group claiming to be a church of Christ. 2 Like many of the right-wing conspiracists, he will mix completely reasonable points (i.e. opposition to US wars or opposition to US military aid to the Israeli state) with wackadoodle crazy ones.
      • WTWW 9475 on April 28, 19:40. SIO 554. Ham radio show, “Amateur Radio Newsline”. Lots of humerous discussion about the woes of operating ham radio repeaters, including dealing with other hams. One of the hosts asked another panelist “Do you agree that the majority of hams are socially challenged?” — The response, “well… yes.” I laughed hearing that, and it is so, so true.
