Hip hop playing with lyrics, “We trying to back our 40 acres… the police… we buy our way out of jail but we can’t buy freedom … clothes we don’t need ’em.” Then the DJ says, “we all miss the old Kanye.” So I of course have to figure out what song this is. Turns out, it is “All fall down” by Kayne West (http://www.metrolyrics.com/all-falls-down-lyrics-kanye-west.html) — Later on, station ID “105.1 Let’s Go!” — On a sidenote, I can’t help but think after hearing this song and comparing them with Kanye’s recent statements about Trump and whatnot, that he must be having a mental breakdown. Anyone who had that kind of clarity about the racist nature of this nation and then goes on and later endorses a neo-facist and openly racist politician like Trump is seriously sick.
