WE COULDN’T STOP THE WAR…. but we could maybe have a little fun by making sure these musicians get a little glory.
LET’S LIKE BE LIKE THE FAIRY GODMOTHER IN CINDERELLA…and help give them an evening they will never forget! VOTE!
IT’S QUICK AND EASY!
WHY? IT’S A NO BRAINER… THEY DESERVE OUR THANKS FOR TAKING THE STANDS THEY DID!
FOR EXAMPLE…
Sarah Wagner was criticized for playing a benefit for Peaceful Tomm orows at which a brother of a slain Pentagon worker spoke. She did it anyway!
When some of these bands appeared at the TU “Not in Our Name” pro-peace concert, the student organizers were forced by the administration to come up with an extra $300 they didn’t have in order to pay for extra security after local hate radio talk show host Michael DiGiorno ridiculed their efforts and made taunting anti-Muslim and anti-gay comments. The show went on!
Let’s show them that youthful peacemaking and idealism can be rewarded.
Thank you so much.
