From TVLand:
- Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Neighborhood menace — Fred Phelps takes on Mr. Rogers Tony Norman’s column refers to Phelps’ latest hate message entitled Mr. Rogers has moved to a new neighborhood — HELL!! (WARNING: This link goes to Phelps hate-website. Content contained therein is extremely offensive to anyone with a heart or mind.)
What I keep thinking is that if Phelps thinks Mr. Rogers is in hell, then we all are damned. If Mr. Rogers can’t get in, I don’t know who can. It is hard to think of anyone who had more of a Godly-gentle spirit than Mr. Rogers
- On the subject of Fred Phelps, I found this series of articles written ab out him by the Topeka Capital-Journal. As vile of a man as he is, he is also incredibly compelling. Amazingly enough he was once a civil rights attorney who won several cases on behalf of African-American defendants but was later disbarred.
- MSNBC: Adult agreesion, children’s TV tied — Long-term study links violence and television – This story is astounding. I find the long-term implications to be the most interesting.
