- Waiting for the election results to come in has made me think about election night ’00, when I (and two friends) stayed up all night in the cold drizzle in front of the Texas state capitol to see Bush speak. (which he did not come out for… I guess it was too cold for him to come out and say howdy) It was fun though to be out there as part of hisory hearing different candidates being named the victor throughout the night.
That night was also fun because I was the Libertarian candiate for the Pct. 5 Constable in Travis County (Austin), TX. In that spirit here are links from memory lane…
